At our core we have undertaken prime contracts covering projects from specialist equipment to delivery of ships and associated services.  These have ranged in value from £2 Million to over £30 Million and have been of both short and long duration.  One of our prime contracts is now into the 6th year and is nearing completion, demonstrating our ability to maintain continuity, commitment and relationships over the long term.

We provide contract and project management services to the marine sector and bring together all the BMT capabilities supported by external expertise, to deliver hardware and supply multi -skilled project consultancy.

As a dedicated hands on project management company we provide a portal into the vast knowledge and experience of the BMT group whilst also retaining independence from manufacturing interests, enabling each project's requirements to be met.

We utilise strong contract and project management experience incorporating the BMT capabilities to provide a very proactive and focused solution that ensures successful delivery, to time and budget, for our customer.

Our staff have a wealth of experience working with both military and commercial customers.  We have a "hands on" understanding of the customer's requirements, expectations and working practices including supporting skills such as risk, safety, superintendence and through life supportability.

Accreditation

BMT Marine Projects is accredited with quality standard ISO9001:2000 for the ‘Provision of contract management services for the marine industry including the derivation of requirements, selection of sub-contractors, supervision of design and production activities, commissioning and acceptance. Provision of project management service of multi skill consultancy tasks involving other subsidiaries within the BMT organisation, for the commercial maritime shipping and offshore industries'. BMT Marine Projects ensures that only those companies that have appropriate and recognised quality systems in place are used to undertake subcontracted work.
